Electric VW Beetle

We are in the process of converting a 1965 Volkswagen Beetle to be a plug-in electric car. It will be powered by nine 8-volt golf cart batteries and have a top speed of about 50 MPH.

The plan is to finish it up by the end of 2008. Keep track of our progress on this blog!
